External Affairs Minister to visit the United Arab Emirates from 11–12 April 2026 to review bilateral cooperation and further strengthen the India–UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Apart from this the Embassy of India in Tehran facilitated movement of 2,170 Indian nationals from Iran via Armenia and Azerbaijan for onward travel to India, including students and fishermen.

Since 28 February, around 8,15,000 passengers have travelled from the region to India.

News from UAE was that airlines continue to operate limited non-scheduled commercial flights between the UAE and India based on operational and safety considerations, with around 85 flights expected to land in the next 24 hours.

Flights continue to operate from various airports in Saudi Arabia and Oman to destinations in India.

Qatar airspace partially open and their main airlines, the Qatar Airways operated around 8–10 flights to India.

News regarding Kuwait stated that their airspace remains closed.

The MEA officials stated that Jazeera Airways and Kuwait Airways are operating non-scheduled commercial flights from Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia to India.

Travel of Indian nationals from Kuwait continues to be facilitated through Saudi Arabia to India.

On Thursday the Bahrain airspace was in operation for air traffic.

Gulf Air is expected to begin limited flight operations from Bahrain to India soon and is currently operating non-scheduled flights from Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia to India.

Travel of Indian nationals to India from Bahrain continues to be facilitated through Saudi Arabia.
