Panel of Vice-Chairpersons of Rajya Sabha is reconstituted

A new panel of vice-chairpersons has been constituted by Rajya Sabha Chairman C P Radhakrishnan.

The new panel, which will come into effect from November 21 and includes names of Dinesh Sharma, Bhubaneswar Kalita, S Phangnon Konyak and M. Thambidurai.

Three opposition leaders, Congress MP Rajani Ashokrao Patil, BJD MP Sasmit Patra and DMK MP Tiruchi Siva, will also be part of the panel.

The seven member panel of vice-chairperson conducts the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha in the absence of the chairman or the deputy chairman.

The coning Winter Session of Parliament scheduled to be held from December 1^st till the 19^th of December 2025. And this will be the first Rajya Sabha session under the chairmanship of C P Radhakrishnan after his election of the Vice President of India.
