The Election Commission has announced next phase of special intensive revision commonly known by its acronym ‘SIR’ across 16 states and three central government-controlled union territories.
The process will begin from July and will last till December 2026.
Following is the detailed release issued by the Election Commission on Thursday the 14th of May 2026.
